We've finally had time to rest and get our gastrointestinal tracts back "on track" now after the Krispy Kreme Challenge (KKC) 2009 yesterday! For those of you who haven't done it, it begins at the NCSU

Belltower, then the participants run 2 miles to the Krispy Kreme Doughnut store, eat 12 doughnuts each, then run 2 miles back in under one hour. This is the fifth year they've had it, and this year they had 5,200 participants. Among those participants were Kirsten, Erik Staub, Tom Luben, Mike, and Dominic! Tom and Mike did the run AND finished the dozen doughnuts, while Erik and Kirsten

were smarter

and only ate a few. Dominic, I'm happy to say, didn't have any.
Tom and Erik showed off that they'd been training by turning in great times, while Mike, Kirst and Dominic

mostly wished to "participate" rather than compete!
