St. Patty's Day and mid-March
We bid Grandma and Grandma Cassingham adieu last weekend, and of course the nice weather came just after they left. We celebrated St. Patrick's Day, and Dominic ate green peas, 'cause he's not quite big enough to have reubens with Dad and Mom yet. He got all duded up in his dinosaur get-up, though, just to celebrate.
Today (Sunday) was a beautiful day in Raleigh, around 70 degrees and sunny. All the trees are breaking bud, and Dominic sat out in the yard to supervise Dad as he sowed some vegetables in the garden.

Grandparents and Myrtle
Grandma and Grandpa Cassingham are still in the Carolinas, and have been giving Dommy some new firsts. Since they've been here he's been swimming for the first time, ate some teething crackers, and can sit up solo like a champ. They also brought home a helium balloon from the grocery store and he loved it. Here's another couple of pics just trying to catch him being himself, too.

Snow Day II in Raleigh
Grandma and Grandpa Cassingham came to visit this week, and brought the snow with them! We had ~3" of snow overnight, but it's also been pretty chilly for Raleigh at night (17 degrees F), so everyone's aflutter about what tomorrow might bring.
Grandma and Gramps took Dommy for a nice walk through the neighborhood, even though it's a pretty big change from the 50-60 degree temps they left in San Jose.
Standing more and more
Dominic's getting stronger and stronger at standing. He's always been one to push up, but now he'll even stay if he's holding on and has a spotter...
He's started grabbing more for everything, and it usually goes right to his piehole first to see if it's any good. Wednesday is his 6-month appointment, so this is right on target (they tell us). He's eating some solid food now, including sweet potatoes, carrots, and now peas. He seems pretty jealous when he sees Daddy hoist the hamburgers up to his mouth, though!
